The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have detailed their proposal for a N615,000 minimum wage in a statement released on Friday.

Festus Osifo of TUC and Joe Ajaero of NLC previously announced the proposed wage increase. President Bola Tinubu also hinted at an imminent wage review in his May Day address, amid concerns over the high cost of living exacerbated by a 33.20% inflation rate in March 2024.
