The Ogun West Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comrade Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo, commends all the representatives from Ogun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly for good representation, prompt responsiveness, life-changing bills, and empowerment.
Comr. Kehinde Damilola appreciates the Senator, Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), for his great developmental projects across the five (5) local governments of the district, which are not limited to good roads, modern markets, construction of hospitals, classrooms, pavilions, and, most importantly, the massive empowerment and bursaries. These were among the requests of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun West Leader, at the meeting he held with the youth constituency of Ogun West immediately after the National Assembly Election in Ilaro.
As our distinguished Senator is performing diligently, so are all our House of Representatives members, and all the youth of Ogun West are proud of the progress recorded across the district.
Rt. Hon. Abiodun Isiaq Akinlade has proven beyond doubt to be a ranking and experienced Honourable member, having facilitated several employment offers for the youths in Yewa South – Ipokia Federal Constituents, Ogun West Senatorial District, and the state at large. On the floor of the House, Hon. Akinlade has sponsored a number of life-changing bills, which include the bill for the Establishment of FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTRE in his federal constituency, Ipokia, and giving out scholarships to students in his constituency.
Hon. Tunji Akinosi, FNSE, has performed beyond the expectations of everyone in Ado-odo Ota Federal Constituency with his laudable touches in almost every local government covered in his federal constituency. His prompt response to the incident of the collapsed electricity pole, which claimed properties of innocent people in Sango Ota, is commendable and gives hope to the hopeless souls. His numerous contributions on the floor of the house are also a testament that Ogun West has some of their best in the right positions this time around. Hon. Tunji Akinosi has facilitated over 3 bills that have direct and indirect benefits on the lives of every single person in Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency.
Hon. Prince Gboyega Nosir Isiaka has proven at all times to be an intelligent, impactful, and responsive representative representing the good people of Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency. GNI has popularly known, has from time to time raised, contributed, and always made moves to ensure the good people of his constituency are not left out in benefiting from the dividends of democracy. His role on the students’ grant is commendable, and his involvement in restoring the dilapidated educational system in Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency is not unnoticed.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, which represents the large numbers of youth across the senatorial district, including all uniform youth organizations (Man ‘O’ War of Nigeria, The Boy and Girl Scouts, Nigeria Cadets, etc.), religious youth groups (Ansarudeen Youth Wing, Royal Ambassador, The Boys and Girls Brigade, Majlis Khuddam, etc.), youth focus groups (Ninnetha, Red Cross of Nigeria, Commonwealth, etc.), and community-based youth groups, congratulates and celebrates you all for a job well done.
While doing this, it’s observed that the majority of all our leaders always center their programs around political groups, of which over ninety (90) percent of the populace are not captured under these categories. While understanding that these mentioned groups are an important part of your political journey and must be taken care of, we are calling on you all to remember the larger percentage of voters in the coming years.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ogun West Senatorial District, under the leadership of Comrade Kehinde Damilola Olorunjubelo, has since its inception in October last year, embarked on a number of youth developmental programs across all the local governments in the senatorial district, which includes:
- 1. Training of 50 youths on ICT programs (Website Design, Graphics Design, and how to legally make money online e.g., CAC REGISTRATION)
- 2. Settling hospital bills of eight (8) vulnerable youths in Ogun West.
- 3. Visitation to the neglected Gateway Stadium, Ilaro, and came up with a working document on how to revive the stadium.
- 4. Raising funds for the re-establishment of businesses for a comrade who lost his business in a fire outbreak at Ilara.

- 15. Initiating an online promotion/advertisement for Ogun Youth tagged “MEET OUR RESOURCEFUL YOUTH” to promote the business and personalities of our youths in their various disciplines.
- 16. Environmental sanitation in all the 5 local governments of Ogun West (On-Going).
We consider all this necessary as a way to support the government in contributing to our immediate community, knowing that the government alone cannot solve people’s needs.
Dear leaders and our important personalities in Ogun West, the majority of all the listed achievements recorded in these very few months are all out of struggles, personal funding out of the little we earn, and the support from our brothers and sisters.
It is on this note that the leadership of the youth constituency is appealing to you all for inclusion in your subsequent programs, appointments, job employment opportunities, monthly or quarterly financial support, and provision of a means of transport.
Once again, we congratulate you all for good representations so far, and we hope for more in the coming years.
Build the Youth! Build the Nation! Maintain the Elders!
