Earlier today, 9th December 2024, the newly elected leadership of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) National Body, led by President-Elect Comrade Tella Faruq Ayobami, paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Yewa South Local Government, Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola, at his esteemed office.
During the meeting, Comrade Prince Faruq Tella formally introduced the newly elected executives present and provided an in-depth overview of the association. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of collaboration and solicited the Local Government’s full support for the association. He highlighted key goals of the administration, including prioritizing student welfare, mentorship programs, and scholarship initiatives aimed at fostering academic and personal development among Yewa students. The President-Elect also took the opportunity to congratulate Barr. Ogunsola on his recent victory as the Executive Chairman of Yewa South Local Government.
In response, Barr. Abraham Babatunde Ogunsola expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the NAYES National leadership for considering him as the first dignitary to visit under their new administration. He congratulated the newly elected executives and commended their proactive approach to fostering progress for Yewa students. The Chairman assured the leadership of his unwavering support for the association’s goals and reiterated his commitment to the betterment of students in Yewaland. He encouraged the President-Elect to feel free to reach out and visit his office to discuss any matters of importance concerning the students.
The meeting was marked by mutual understanding and shared enthusiasm for driving positive change within Yewaland through collaborative efforts.
The elected executive members joining the president are Vice President Com. Idowu Rotimi, Treasurer Com. Idris Bamgboye, Welfare Director Com. Saka Faisat, and Sports Director Com. Akintola Abdul Azeem.
