The Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, FBDFM, FCAI, warmly received the newly elected executives of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) National Body, led by the President-Elect, Com. Faruq Tella, in his office earlier this week.
During the visit, Com. Faruq Tella expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Rector for taking the time to meet with them despite his busy schedule. He acknowledged the Rector’s remarkable contributions to the development and upliftment of OGITECH since assuming office and praised his efforts in raising the institution’s standards. As a follower of the Rector’s work, he commended his commitment to excellence and prayed for continued success in all his endeavors.
Comrade Tella also briefed the Rector on the purpose and vision of NAYES, highlighting the association’s commitment to nurturing better students in Yewaland who are devoted to community service and the overall progress of the region.
In his response, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye thanked the NAYES National Body for their courtesy visit and appreciated their participation in the 1st OGITECH Yewa Indigenous Association Program. Drawing from his experience as a comrade and former NAYES FPI Patron, he pledged his unwavering support to the association, emphasizing its unique and vital role as the recognized student body representing Yewaland ( NO OTHER STUDENT BODY IS RECOGNIZED IN YEWALAND EXCEPT NAYES ).
Dr. Oluseye encouraged the newly elected executives to remain proactive in their roles, urging them to organize impactful programs for students and expand the association’s chapters across various institutions. He reminded them of their responsibility as young leaders to leverage such opportunities for growth, learning, and the betterment of Yewaland. “Together, we can achieve greatness for Yewaland by staying committed to education, integrity, and collaboration,” he concluded.
